Manchester City considering move for Douglas Costa
Douglas Costa's agent claims Manchester City are weighing up a move for the Shakhtar Donetsk forward.
Douglas Costa, 20, was linked with a move to Manchester United during his time at Gremio before making the move to the Ukraine in 2010, and speculation persists that he could be set to play in the Premier League.
Serie A side Napoli are also said to be interested in the attacking midfielder and agent Cesar Bottega believes something could happen in the near future.
"I have spoken a few times with Manchester City," he told notiziariosportivo.com. "They have shown interest in the player and are now considering whether to enter into a negotiation or not.
"I am planning a trip to Europe in a fortnight, but if something were to change I'm ready to leave earlier.
He added: "Napoli have followed the player's performance in the Champions League. I don't know if there were concrete contacts - I have not been contacted. Logically, they will first, in any case, contact the club."
