Wenger wants Bendtner to stay at Arsenal

Arsene Wenger insists he will head into crunch talks with Nicklas Bendtner at the end of the season in an attempt to convince the Dane to stay at Arsenal.
Bendtner has increasingly become a bit-part player for Arsenal, failing to start a league game for the Gunners since the 0-0 draw at home to Sunderland on March 5.
Robin van Persie is the established lone striker at Emirates Stadium, with Marouane Chamakh often the first replacement to be called from the bench. As a result, Bendtner has had to carve out his career on the right wing.
"I will sit down with Nicklas at the end of the season to see how he feels," said Wenger on Friday. "I hope he will stay.
"I completely agree that he did not get enough chances - it was a very difficult season for him. He must be frustrated and I am as well because I feel he was not involved enough.
"That is part of the competition as well but we will see where we go from here at the end of the season."
