Vidic sets sights on another season at Old Trafford

Nemanja Vidic is already planning for another season at Old Trafford, warning Manchester United's rivals that the Red Devils will be a better side next year.
Vidic signed a four-year contract at the start of the season, but that has not stopped reports linking him with a move away from United during the summer. The Serbian defender has been the subject of interest from AC Milan, and his name has often been mentioned in connection with Real Madrid.
However, Vidic declared in April that he plans to spend the rest of his career at Old Trafford, and he has cemented that promise by taking a glance into the future of the champions-elect. Blessed with young talents such as Javier Hernandez, Fabio da Silva, Rafael da Silva and Chris Smalling, Vidic predicts it will be more difficult for their rivals to stop them next season.
"This team has space to grow. I think that next season we will be even better," he said in the Daily Mirror. "We have so many great players and potential in this squad.
"Some teams you feel have the potential to grow and improve. This team has it. You sense there is a hunger and room to progress here. It is a great place to be."
Vidic had earlier stated that he never intended to leave United, despite growing reports that he wanted a new challenge.
"I hope to spend the rest of my career here at United," Vidic said in April. "I heard the speculation about me maybe leaving last year, but I know where I want to be and I have shown my commitment to the club. I have given the best years of my career to this club and the talk about me leaving here was never correct."
