Birmingham City goalkeeper Ben Foster will not look to leave the club even if they are relegated from the Premier League this weekend.

Blues are currently above the drop zone on goal difference, having slumped to a disappointing 2-0 home loss against Fulham on Sunday. Their final game is a testing trip to White Hart Lane, where they will meet a Tottenham side who need a win to guarantee a place in next season's Europa League.

Birmingham's season has come off the rails since they clinched the Carling Cup against Arsenal on February 27, winning just two games since then - but Foster, who was voted the club's player of the year, insists that relegation is not dominating anyone's thoughts.

"I want to stay at Birmingham City," he said. "I've loved this season. It's been a great season for me personally. I know we're in a bit of a fight at the moment and we've got a massive match on Sunday.

"But no-one is thinking of being in the Championship next season and we need to get three points on Sunday."
