Sagna expects Fabregas to stay

Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna is confident that Cesc Fabregas will still be at the club next season despite the inevitable speculation linking him with a return to Barcelona.
A sixth successive season without a trophy at Emirates Stadium has weakened manager Arsene Wenger's bargaining position and with other clubs eyeing a move for Fabregas his future is uncertain.
The Spain midfielder, who is set to miss Sunday's match at Fulham with the thigh injury which has kept him out so far this month, has long been linked with a move away from Arsenal but Sagna expects his team-mate will stay.
Asked if he felt the Arsenal skipper would still be at the Emirates next term, Sagna said: "Of course. He is under contract with the team. He is still our captain.
"Unfortunately, he was injured, but he will be back soon. We need him badly because he is a good player, he is very talented and everyone knows what he can bring to the team.
"So I am looking forward to playing with him next year.''
