Van der Sar reveals 'second thoughts' about retirement

Manchester United's veteran goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar has admitted he "second thoughts" about his impending retirement.
The 40-year-old, who joined United from Fulham in 2005, is set to hang up his gloves after winning four Premier League titles and making the crucial penalty save to hand United the Champons League in 2008.
Sir Alex Ferguson revealed the Dutchman had a 'wobble' about his decision to call it a day, with Van der Sar conceding he went to see the manager to express his doubts.
"You always have second thoughts, second doubts and everything," he told Sky Sports. "But now I am looking forward to Saturday (against Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League). Let's make sure we win."
After leading his team-mates out for his final game at Old Trafford as United beat Blackpool on Sunday, the shot-stopper said his time at the club had been "unbelievable".
"It's been a great six years. To play for a team like this at my age is unbelievable," he added.
