Pearce hits out at Wenger over Wilshere

Stuart Pearce has voiced his frustration after seeing Jack Wilshere withdraw from the England Under-21 squad, suggesting Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger never wanted the youngster to go to the European Championship.
Wenger spoke openly about his fears for Wilshere during the season and said when informed of the midfielder's inclusion in the provisional squad "this could be a risk for his health."
A matter of days later, Wilshere was omitted from the final squad with the player saying sports science data suggested he was on the brink of picking up an injury after a long season with Arsenal.
Wilshere played 53 games for Arsenal and Pearce feels that if the club were so worried, they could have pulled him from the line of fire during the campaign.
"Arsenal haven't left him out in the last six weeks of the season, even though stats said he's in the red zone," Pearce is quoted as saying in The Sun. "Arsene didn't want him to go full stop."
