Samir Nasri's agent insists the Arsenal midfielder wants to resume his ongoing contract negotiations with Arsene Wenger despite interest from a number of other clubs.

Nasri, who is out of contract next summer, has been heavily linked with a move away from the Emirates, with Inter Milan the latest club to join a lengthy list of potential suitors that includes Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus.

Wenger has always maintained that he wants Nasri to remain at the Emirates and the 23-year-old's representative, Alain Migliaccio, claims negotiations over a new Gunners deal will continue.

Migliaccio said: "I want to clarify that there has been no break with the Gunners over the contract's renewal and we should meet again soon with Arsene Wenger."

The agent added on calciomercatoweb: "There are a few clubs interested in Samir, but it is useless to name them. Before listening to other teams, we need and we want to talk with Arsenal."
