Lens reject bids for United target Varane

Lens president Gervais Martel has claimed he has rejected bids of over €10 million for reported Manchester United target Raphael Varane.
The teenage defender earned rave reviews with the French side, despite the club slipping out of the top flight last term.
Lens' relegation has heightened talk that Varane could be sold and it was reported last week that United had tabled a bid of £9 million.
Martel refused divulge the name of the bidder, but confirmed "big overseas clubs" are in the hunt.
"Paris St Germain have made me an offer, that is probably the worst kept secret around," Martel told RMC radio station.
"A second club is also interested in him, but he isn't necessarily guaranteed first-team football there either. The asking price is around €10million (£8.9 million).
"Certain big overseas club have offered more, but I quickly shut the door on them! We are on the same wavelength as the player, it's all a question of timing. I don't think we are too far from finding a solution.''
