Forlan open to Premier League return
Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo believes Diego Forlan is eager to return to the Premier League this summer.
Forlan, 32, is believed to have been made available for a fee in the region of £7 million, but he recently rejected a move to Turkish side Galatasaray.
He has regularly been linked with a return to England, having spent three and a half years with Manchester United, and Cerezo believes would be his preferred destination.
"Diego will decide what happens, but it looks like his first choice will be England," Cerezo said.
Atletico are also set to part with Argentina forward Sergio Aguero, with Real Madrid, Juventus and Chelsea all said to be keen on his services, but Cerezo insists there have been no developments.
"The only thing I know about Kun is that he's in South America to play in the Copa America," he said. "At the moment, he's an Atletico player. We haven't sold anyone and we don't know anything."
Meanwhile, Cerezo confirmed that Jose Antonio Reyes, who was also the subject of a bid from Galatasaray, will remain at the club.
"Reyes will play for Atletico Madrid," he said. "He's an Atletico player now and he will be next season too."
