Arsenal braced for improved Fabregas bid

Arsenal would be willing to sell captain Cesc Fabregas at the right price, according to a senior club official.
The Gunners rejected two bids from Barcelona last summer, and last week turned down a further offer in the region of £27 million.
However, Fabregas has made no secret of desire to return to the Camp Nou and, amid reports Barca are readying an improved bid, it appears Arsenal are ready to cash in.
A senior Arsenal official told the BBC: "The offer was made formally in writing to our chief executive, and we said no straight away."
When asked if the club expected an improved offer this week, the source added: "Possibly, yes, and if it's enough then I expect we'll have to sell."
Barca goalkeeper Victor Valdes feels signing Fabregas would represent good business.
"It would be a major boost for the team," he said. "I don't know whether it will take a long time, but what I do know for certain is that he wants to return to his boyhood club."
Barcelona president Sandro Rosell has said he believes Fabregas' value has fallen since last year.
