Wigan to complete Al-Habsi signing

Bolton goalkeeper Ali Al-Habsi's transfer to Wigan is expected to be completed on Monday afternoon, following the Latics' decision to call a press conference for 3pm.
Earlier in the day Bolton manager Owen Coyle said that Al-Habsi was nearing a permanent transfer, although there has been no confirmation that the Latics press conference is in connection to the Oman goalkeeper.
Al-Habsi, 29, was on loan at the DW Stadium last season and impressed enough to keep Chris Kirkland out of the side. The two clubs have agreed a transfer fee believed to be in the region of £4 million.
Coyle said: "We could easily have kept him but I have to be fair to Ali. It is good business. If that is concluded, we will wish him well."
Al-Habsi made 39 appearances for Wigan and their manager, Roberto Martinez, has made no secret of his desire to sign him permanently.
