Biarritz have been hit with a triple injury blow ahead of their trip to Castres on Saturday.

Versatile back Charles Gimenez is out for two months after being forced to undergo surgery on a metacarpal. And there are worries over the fitness of French centre Damien Traille. He has a clavicle problem while his team-mate, hooker, Romain Terrain is struggling with a thigh tear. Both will be assessed this week.

And elsewhere in Top 14 the Bordeaux-Begles will be without Samoan lock Dan Leo for three weeks after he dislocated his elbow against Wasps at the weekend. Bordeaux currently sit ninth in the Top 14 while Biarritz have experienced a revival in their fortunes after experiencing a woeful start to the season.
