Top 14 newcomers Agen have bolstered their ranks for next season with the signing of Wales centre Jamie Robinson and Argentina No.8 Alejandro Campos.

Robinson, 30, has 23 caps for Wales and makes the switch from high-flying Toulon, whom he helped to second in the table and the final of the European Challenge Cup last season, on a one-year deal with an option for a further season.

Campos has been recruited after the club's bid for another Welsh player, new Wasps recruit Andy Powell, fell through. Campos has played for his country on nine occasions, most recently in their June rout of France, and joins from relegated Montauban.

Robinson's departure from Toulon coincides with that of lock Ross Skeate, who has returned to South Africa with the Natal Sharks.

The former Emerging Springbok has begun training with the Currie Cup side and is available for selection in this weekend's showdown with the reigning champions, the Blue Bulls, in Durban.
