Toulon owner Mourad Boudjellal has landed in hot water after his latest attack on Top 14 referees.

L'Union Nationale des Arbitres (UNAR) has opened proceedings against the outspoken Comic book magnate due to comments made about referee Christophe Berdos in the wake of Toulon's league loss to Clermont Auvergne on January 8.

"I had my first refereeing sodomy in the semi final [last season] against Clermont," he said. "I've just had my second tonight. It appeared to hurt the first time but it was just as bad this time. We will review the images not on Youtube but on YouPorn. Clermont are a great team. They did not need it."

Following a special meeting, UNAR released a statement confirming that they would pursue legal action in order to protect officials from similar treatment in the future. Boudjellal was unmoved by the threat of further sanctions, having already been ordered before a Ligue Nationale de Rugby (LNR) panel.

"I'm not surprised that they are attacking me," Boudjellal told AFP. "With what they get paid, they need the money. Besides, I'm used to proceedings where the word 'national' is used unnecessarily."
