Scarlets fly-half Rhys Priestland is set to reveal this week where his future lies.

Priestland is out of contract at the end of the season and is widely expected to join Bath on a two-year deal. London Irish were also reportedly in the running but Bath look to have won the race where he will compete with England's George Ford for the fly-half berth.

Following his man-of-the-match performance against the Ospreys on Saturday, Priestland fielded questions on what his future plans are and responded: "I've been told not to answer that question. Everything's sorted and I think I need to come out this week and put everything to bed."

Priestland edged the battle against current Welsh No.10 Dan Biggar as he kicked 12 points and helped implement the Scarlets' game plan. "To be honest, I've enjoyed my rugby for the last few months," Priestland said. "People have jumped on this bandwagon of me playing well in the last two or three weeks.

"But I think the performances have been pretty good pretty consistently. I just enjoy playing for this team. It's my home region and every time I pull on the shirt it's an honour."
