Despite Mourad Boudjellal's worst fears, Bernard Laporte took charge of Toulon training on Monday, two days after they suffered a shock defeat at the hands of Grenoble.

Laporte was furious with the referee's decision at the end of the game to call time on advantage seconds before Jonny Wilkinson's pass found the outstretched hands of Alipate Ratini who ran in to hand Grenoble a famous victory.

Boudjellal conceded post-match he was not sure if Laporte would be able to stomach the late defeat. Boudjellal said: "He's disappointed with many things in rugby: the refereeing which sometimes verges on amateurism and the sport which he no longer recognises since he returned to it."

But Boudjellal has allayed any fears over Laporte's future saying "everything is going well ... there is no problem".
