Oyonnax pulled off one of the shocks of the Top 14 season after they won at Clermont 11-10.

Benjamin Urdapilleta was Oyonnax's hero as he slotted a 74th minute penalty to give the visitors a surprise win. Following Clermont's remarkable win over Northampton last Saturday, the hosts made a series of changes and Oyonnax - whose sole try was scored by Soane Tonga'uiha - did enough to gate-crash the party. Clermont's score came after 27 minutes when Peceli Yato crashed over but despite late surges towards the Oyonnax line, the visitors held out for a famous win.

Elsewhere Montpellier and Racing Metro battled out a 24-24 draw at Stade Yves-du-Manoir. Racing outscored the visitors four tries to two but Ben Lucas' boot kept them in it and neither team could force the win in the closing stages of the match. Antonie Claassen and Maxime Machenaud both grabbed braces for the hosts with Mikhail Nariashvili and Timoci Nagusa scoring for Montpellier.

Toulouse survived a scare at home to beat Bayonne 20-17 with Louis Picamoles scoring the match-winning try in the 77th minute with Jean-Marc Doussain slotting the conversion. They crossed first through Patricio Albacete but it was Bayonne who were in the lead heading into the final stages of the match thanks to Joe Rokocoko's score, three penalties from Martin Bustos Moyano and one from Scott Spedding.

And Brive beat Lyon 22-20 with Gaetan Germain scoring 17 points for the hosts. Lyon's 20 points came thanks to tries from George Smith and Waisele Sukanaveita.

On Friday La Rochelle and Stade Francais battled out a 19-19 draw thanks to a late try from Jonathan Danty. The Stade centre scored in the 72nd minute with Jules Plisson adding the conversion to draw the level. It was a hard fought match throughout with La Rochelle's total brought up thanks to an early try from Elliot Roudil, eight points from Fabien Fotassin and penalties apiece from Julien Audy and Jules Lebail.
