John Stevens, UK Clermont-Auvergne were formerly known as Montferrand & Clermont-Ferrand. This season is their twelfth in the top-stream of European competition. This year's final is their second: they lost 16-15 to Toulon in 2013. They were losing semi-finalists in 2012 and last year, and have been knocked out three times at the quarter-final stage: in 2000, 2002 and 2010.
