Spencer gets a recall

Blues coach Gordon Hunter has made seven changes to the side that lost 18-39 to the Stormers at Eden Park last Saturday.

First five Carlos Spencer, who has recently been linked to several English Clubs replaces Orene Ai'i who slots into the fullback role.

Doug Howlett returns the wing, while Iliesa Tanivula moves in one to centre and All Black Eroni Clarke is benched.

In the forwards, the in-form Troy Flavell returns to the second row, and Dylan Mika replaces Andrew Blowers for his first start of the Super 12 campaign.
