Fiji to play Epson Cup home matches in Apia ?

Fijian Rugby Union Chief Executive Bob Challenor reveals contingency plans.

Speaking at the end of the Samoa v Fiji Epson Cup match in Apia on Saturday, Challenor revealed that this could involve an Epson Cup double header on July 1. Samoa are due to play Canada and Fiji the USA. Because of the continuing political crisis in Fiji it looks increasingly unlikely that the Fijians will be able to host any matches this year.In which case a shift of venue to Apia, with the two matches being played on the same day becomes a practical possibility.
