France will be out to extend a two match winning run when they take on South Africa in Toulouse on Friday night. The two sides have not met since 2006, when France ran out 36-26 winners at Newlands in Cape Town. The sides have met at the Stade Toulouse only once before, in 1974. On that occasion the Springboks were 13-4 victors, under the old scoring system where Roland Bertranne's try counted for France's four points. The visitors scored a try though wing Willem Stapelberg, on his debut, while Gerald Bosch and Tossie Fourie shared three penalties in front of a crowd of just over 15,000.
