France coach Marc Lievremont has made several changes to his side for this Saturday's one-off Test against Argentina in Buenos Aires.
Fullback Clement Poitrenaud, centres David Marty and Maxime Mermoz, winger Aurelien Rougerie, lock Romain Millo-Chluski and prop Thomas Domingo all make way amongst the seven changes to the side that were crushed 42-17 by South Africa in Cape Town earlier this month. Les Bleus' will also be without flanker Wenceslas Lauret who will miss the Six Nations Grand Slam champions' final clash of the season due to injury.
Florian Fritz and Lionel Mazars are retained in the centre for the Velez Sarsfield Stadium clash having impressed in the 37-14 victory over an Argentinean XV last Friday. Elsewhere, Jerome Porical is set for his Test bow at No.15, Julien Mazlieu comes in on the wing and Pascal Pape packs down alongside Lionel Nallet in the second row. Fabien Barcella makes the grade at loosehead and Thierry Dusautoir will skipper the side - joining Louis Picamoles and Julien Bonnaire in the back row.
"We were pretty disappointed by a number of the three quarters (against South Africa)," commented Lievremont who retains the half-back combination of Morgan Parra and Francois Trinh-Duc. "The Fritz-Mazars centre pairing deserved a chance to show us what they can do at this higher level. Jerome Porical and Julien Malzieu played very well on Friday (against Argentina A) with lots of vigour and enthusiasm."
