France have revealed their new playing strip that will be worn for the first time later this year when they tackle Australia at the Stade de France.

The kit, that replaces the Nike-produced strip last worn during Les Bleus' recent tour of Argentina, is the first produced under a six-year deal struck with German sports manufacturer adidas last year.

The move brought an end to a 10-year relationship with Nike but saw the French Rugby Federation (FFR) team up once again with manufacturer it first partnered with in 1974.

The royal blue home strip also features red, white and blue stripes above the FFR emblem and adidas logo. It also includes royal blues shorts and red socks.

By re-uniting with adidas, France join a stable already including World Cup holders New Zealand and Italy who announced a long-term partnership last week.

France kick off their end of year campaign against the Wallabies on November 10 with clashes against Argentina (November 17) and Samoa (November 24) to follow.
