Experienced France winger Vincent Clerc will miss the three-Test series against the All Blacks in June because of a knee injury.

The 31-year-old announced on Twitter that the injury, sustained in a club match for Toulouse on Saturday, will see him on the sidelines for "several" months, leaving him no chance of playing in the Tests at Auckland on June 8, Christchurch on June 15 and New Plymouth on June 22.

He is also ruled out of the French Top 14 club play-off series.

Clerc has scored 34 tries in a 67-Test career that spans 12 years. Six of them were scored in the 2011 IRB World Cup in New Zealand, where he was the equal-highest try-scorer alongside England's Chris Ashton.
