French rugby faces ticket investigation

The French Rugby Federation is reportedly at the centre of an investigation into how a number of match tickets ended up being sold at inflated prices on the internet.

Reports in the French media claim the Central Office for the Suppression of Serious Crime is investigating the FFR amid claims that thousands of tickets from "dubious origin" were reportedly been purchased from the FFR's headquarters in Marseille.

One game at the heart of the investigation is Ireland's postponed match against France in 2012 when a number of supporters found their €100 tickets were worth just €15, according to the Irish Independent.
