Hugo Bonneval will make his debut for France after being named as one of three changes ahead of the visit of Italy on Saturday.

The Stade Francais full-back will start on the wing in place of Maxime Medard, who has been dropped from the squad, while Dimitri Szarzewski is rewarded for the impact he made off the bench against England as he starts at hooker instead of Benjamin Kayser. Yoann Maestri is the third change, starting alongside captain Pascal Pape in the second row.

Alexandre Flanquart drops out of the squad, while Sebastien Vahaamahina joins the bench, alongside notable returnee Francois Trinh-Duc - who comes in for the injured Antoine Burban. After defeating England in a dramatic Six Nations opener last weekend, France are looking to keep their Grand Slam ambitions alive, and to avenge last year's famous defeat in Rome to the Azzurri.
