With disciplinary hearings hanging over France have delayed naming their side for Sunday's quarter-final against Ireland or Argentina until disciplinary proceedings against Christian Califano and Fabien Pelous have been resolved.
Team manager Jo Maso believes that there is no point in naming the side until he can be sure which players will be available.
Pelous and Califano were cited after France's win over Fiji in Toulouse on Saturday. World Cup officials said Califano had been cited for head-butting, while Pelous has been accused of stamping. The disciplinary committee will meet to decide their fate on Tuesday afternoon and Maso said the French side would now be named on Wednesday morning.
