Califano given long suspension

Christian Califano has been given the tournament's longest suspension, seven weeks, while teammate Fabien Pelous received a two-week suspension following separate incidents in the game against Fiji last Saturday.
The Toulouse forward will be unable to play until the 5th December after he head butted a Fijian forward (pictured).
The bans mean both players will miss the quarter-final against Ireland on Sunday, and will see Califano take no further part in the tournament should France progress.
Pelous, who was found guilty of stamping, would be available for the semi final stage
There was no immediate news on whether the French management intends appealing against either suspension, but that would appear likely, certainly in Califano's case.
