NPC : Counties-Manukau's Leaupepe to be cited

The experienced Manu Samoa test centre was sin-binned in Saturday's game against canterbury in Christchurch after a reckless head high tackle.

Leaupepe will appear before the New Zealand Rugby Football Union judicial committee on Wednesday , and Counties coach Andrew Talaimanu will be hoping that his midfielder does not incur too lengthy a suspension. After the opening match against North Harbour, which they lost heavily, his side have run both Auclkland and Canterbury quite close and the last thing he needs right now is disruption to the side and the enforcd absence of one of his most experienced players. Leaupepe does have a tendency to go high when tackling and he has been in trouble for this aspect of his play in the past.
