Connacht bounced back from their worst European defeat last week at London Irish with a bonus-point victory against Dax to progress to the last eight as runners-up in Pool One. Fionn Carr and Niva Ta'auso both scored twice at Connacht ran in seven tries in the 49-3 win at the Galway Sportsground. Following some harsh words from Connacht boss Michael Bradley, his side turned their campaign around to progress into yet another Challenge Cup quarter final. Sean Cronin, Liam Bibo and Gavin Duffy also crossed for Connacht, as a sorry Dax XV ended their European campaign on a low note. They return to domestic action having only registered a single win in the tournament this season.
