.Jason Dufner has a great chance to win his third tournament in less than a month, as he will battle it out with Zach Johnson for the Crowne Plaza Invitational on Sunday.

Dufner, who only won his first PGA Tour title in New Orleans at the end of April, is on course for his third win of the season as he leads Johnson by a single shot going into the final round at Colonial. The even-tempered American shot another fine round of 66 on Saturday to maintain his lead, although Johnson closed the gap after a slightly superior score of 65.

The duo, playing in the day's final pairing, put on a masterclass of putting - holing out from mid-range all day to sprint away from the rest of the field.

If Dufner wins on Sunday, he will become the first player ever to win the two tour events in north Texas. He claimed the Byron Nelson Classic in dramatic fashion last weekend.

After a round of 69, Tom Gillis is the man out on his own in third at seven-under, although he will almost certainly need to go incredibly low on Sunday if he is to pull off a miraculous victory. Bo Van Pelt is six-under, while Ryan Palmer and John Huh both sit five-under in the battle to be best of the rest.

A number of big names - including Jim Furyk, Louis Oosthuizen and Rickie Fowler - sit four-under, while Matt Kuchar and Hunter Mahan are both two-under - as is Englishman Greg Owen.

Sergio Garcia's gradual slide backwards continued, however - the Spaniard is now just one-under after a one-over par round of 71.
