Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and Lee Westwood will be among the early starters in the opening round of the US PGA Championship at Kiawah Island.

Woods is bidding for his first major win since 2008 and he will begin his quest on the Ocean Course alongside Martin Kaymer and Keegan Bradley. The trio will tee off from the 10th at 8.30am local time (1.30pm in the UK).

McIlroy is two groups ahead of Woods and he will go off with Dustin Johnson and Jim Furyk, while Westwood will have Bill Haas and Angel Cabrera for company.

As is tradition, the winners of the first three majors have been put together and Open champion Ernie Els, Masters winner Bubba Watson and US Open victor Webb Simpson will tee off from the first at 1.20pm local time.
