Sergio Garcia claimed his second title of 2012 thanks to a blistering final round at the Iskandar Johor Open on Sunday.

In the shortened 54-hole event - after storms washed out Friday's play - Garcia took advantage of the sodden course to fire a closing 61, leapfrogging him to 18-under par and the victory.

Seven birdies in the opening nine holes had Garcia well on his way, and even a long rain delay could not upset his rhythm as he claimed a three-shot victory over Jonathan Moore.

"It has been a long week obviously because of the weather and I couldn't have asked for a better way to end the week," Garcia said.

"It has been a great experience as this is my first time in Malaysia and to be able to win is a treat. The most important thing about playing under these kinds of conditions is to keep the momentum going, especially with so much disruption.

"It's hard to keep up mentally and I sort of did that yesterday morning where I finished poorly but today I came back strongly."
