Paula Creamer has assured fans that she escaped a car crash in Thailand with nothing more than concussion and a sore shoulder and hopes to be playing again by the end of the week.

Fellow LPGA pros Suzann Pettersen and Ai Miyazato were also caught up in the five-car crash while travelling to the airport after the Honda LPGA Thailand event in Pattaya and also emerged with minor injuries.

"Thanks for all your good wishes. I really do have great fans and wonderful friends," Creamer wrote on Twitter. "I was part of a high speed 5 car accident on way to BKK.

"I was in the middle car and felt like a ping pong ball. I saw doctors today no concussion, sore shoulder and moderate whiplash.

"I will probably be sore for several weeks. My air bag did not deploy. Had seat belt on thank goodness."

Creamer's long-time caddie Colin Cann was also in her car. "Colin was in the back seat.

"Colin has a sore neck and shoulders. We might have to get small bag this week. We were very lucky. Hope to be able to play this week."
