RBC Heritage Leaderboard

Luke Donald moved within contention of the lead in the RBC Heritage in South Carolina, carding a three-under-par 68 to move five-under-par overall.

Starting at the tenth, Donald enjoyed a solid front nine, carding a birdie at 13 and moving one-under at the turn. However, a mixed return to the clubhouse scuppered any hopes of moving to outright leader as the Englishman cancelled out two birdies with two bogeys before gaining a shot at the ninth hole to finish on a high. Bill Haas shot a second round 69 to join Donald at five-under-par and one shot off the leading pack.

Kevin Streelman shares the top of the leaderboard after carding a one-under-par 70 to move six-under overall along with fellow Americans Charley Hoffman (70) and Steve LeBrun (68).

Graeme McDowell shot an impressive second round to advance up the leaderboard, carding a 67 to move to four-under-par, and it could have been more for the Nothern Irishman had he holed an eight-footer to save par at the third. However, McDowell left his putt six inches short and had to settle for a bogey to tarnish his otherwise-impressive round.

Overnight leader Brian Davis endured a torrid second round which saw him bogey five of his opening nine holes as windy conditions began to worsen around the Harbour Town Golf Links course. The Englishman, who shot a 65 in his opening round, started with a bogey on the tenth hole and then made four successive bogeys before the turn to drop to two-under-par overall.

Marc Leishman and Stuart Appleby are part of a group of players that sit two shots off the lead at four-under-par.

With the cut set at one-over-par, American duo Brandt Snedeker and Zach Johnson missed out on the weekend after dropping back to two-over-par overall.

Notable names to miss the cut after the second round included Open champion Ernie Els, who finished up at four-over-par following a second round of 73 while Ross Fisher carded a three-over 74 to end a miserable two rounds at nine-over.
