Tiger Woods made 10 birdies at Delhi Golf Club but failed to win a skins game, according to the Associated Press.

Woods, paired with Hero Motors chairman Pawan Munjal, lost the charity skins game to Shiv Kapur and Anirban Lahiri.

Kapur has been a European Tour golfer since 2006, while Lahiri plies his trade on the Asian Tour.

Woods made his first visit to India as a guest of Munjal and later posted a picture on Instagram:

India newspapers reported Woods received about $2 million for the appearance. The event was closed to the public.

After the round, Woods told reporters: "Delhi Golf Club is the narrowest course I have ever played. I was nervous on some of the tee shots."

Woods added that he hopes the exhibition helps junior golf in India.
