- Travelers Championship, Round Four
Jacobson ends European drought in Connecticut

Fredrik Jacobson ended his long pursuit of a maiden PGA Tour crown by becoming the first European to win the Travelers Championship on Sunday, clinching the title by a single stroke.
Jacobson had tried and failed on 186 previous occasions to break his PGA Tour duck, managing three second-placed finishes. That drought was halted in Cromwell, Connecticut, where he completed 63 consecutive holes before conceding his one and only bogey of the competition, posting a winning score of 20-under-par.
The Swede's putting was extremely solid all week, and he coupled that with an improved performance off the tee to post a four-under 66. Three birdies on the front nine were followed by two more on the inward holes, before four nerveless pars steered him to victory.
There was a brief wobble at the 10th when he sliced his approach wide of the green for his first bogey of the tournament, but a bogey at the last by main rival Ryan Moore opened the door for Jacobson's triumph.
Moore hit five birdies through the opening seven holes to move within a single stroke of the leader, and three more leading up to 16 had him heading for a play-off. However, the American saved his only bogey of the day for the crucial moment, signing for a 63 that proved agonisingly short.
Moore's compatriot John Rollins also finished on 19-under in a tie for second, after he too carded a 63.
Ian Poulter never truly threatened throughout the week at TPC River Highlands, eventually settling on 11-under to complete the tournament nine shots off the pace. Poulter putted well and kept a solid line on the final day for a 67, having bogeyed his first hole.
The Brit finished level with Zach Johnson, who recovered from an early double-bogey to sign for a 66. The American strung together four straight birdies on his way back to the clubhouse for a respectable 11-under finish.
Poulter's compatriot Brian Davis was the highest-finishing Briton, earning himself a tie for ninth on 14-under. Davis' final round turned for the better at the par-five 13th, where an eagle led to two further birdies as he signed for a 66.
Two of the rounds of the day were played by David Toms and Steve Flesch, who finished on 12- and 11-under respectively. Toms stayed flawless for a six-birdie 64, four of which came consecutively on the back nine, while Flesch went one better with an eagle at the 15th the highlight of his magnificent 63.
Elsewhere, Padraig Harrington's unspectacular week came to an end with a solid 69 as he settled on four-under. The Irishman putted poorly all week, but as that part of his game improved on Sunday his accuracy off the tee faltered slightly.
Three bogeys in the first five holes threatened a horror end to his campaign, but four birdies beginning at the ninth saw Harrington end positively.
