Andrew Smith joins Munster from Brumbies

New Munster signing Andrew Smith has arrived in the province following the conclusion of the Super Rugby season.

Smith, who has been at the Brumbies since 2010, will join his new team-mates for the first time in a training session on Saturday.

Having spent the last two seasons under former Munster forwards coach Laurie Fisher, Smith says he is ready for the new challenge that lies ahead.

"I'm really looking forward to joining Munster and making the most of the opportunity," Smith said. "Laurie Fisher has always spoken highly about the team and culture.

"It's definitely somewhere I want to go and make an impact, working closely with the boys and training hard. I've no doubt it will be a great experience and I can't wait to get stuck in."
