Leinster have received a boost prior to their Heineken Cup showdown against Saracens at Wembley on Saturday, with talismanic centre Brian O'Driscoll's hamstring injury not as serious as first feared.

The Ireland skipper pulled up when attempting to stop Racing Metro centre Albert Vulivuli's charge for the line at the RDS last weekend and fears were immediately raised that the injury would prevent him from taking part in a massive occasion at the home of English football.

A decision on O'Driscoll's involvement will be taken closer to kick-off following scans while club captain Leo Cullen could be available after stepping up his rehab on a shoulder problem.

Flanker Sean O'Brien, Man of the Match against Racing Metro, believes that the squad have the mental strength to bag a result at Wembley after righting a difficult start to the season in recent weeks.

"It is always good to have a massive crowd and a great atmosphere," he said. "The atmosphere in the Aviva Stadium when we played Munster was exceptional and I'm sure the atmosphere at Wembley is going to be the same, if not better. That'll be good for both teams.

"And we do have a lot of experience as a side of playing in these big games. There's a good mix out there with younger lads who have played in games like these last year and the year before. We all know what it's about and there will be no fear going over there."
