After pushing Toulouse all the way last weekend, Wasps are back on home soil this Sunday as they take on Glasgow at Adams Park in round two of the Heineken Cup.

Tony Hanks' men were a missed penalty away from a famous win at the Stade Municipal and will have taken great heart from their gritty performance. That effort will count for naught if they slip up at home to the Warriors, however, with their Scottish rivals currently a win to the good after seeing off the Dragons in round one.

Wasps have been worryingly inconsistent in recent seasons and their fans will be wary of Glasgow, who have shown plenty of vigour despite a mixed start to the season.

Wasps - Player to Watch: Riki Flutey is back in action for his 50th Wasps appearance and he will need to get the better of tough-tackling Warriors midfielder Graeme Morrison.

Wasps - Team News: Flutey, David Lemi, Charlie Beech, Rob Webber and Dan Ward-Smith all return to the starting line-up, with Ward-Smith slotting into the second-row and Andy Powell retaining the No.8 jersey.

Glasgow - Player to Watch: Outside-centre Max Evans faces a high-quality midfield this week but will hope to carve a few opportunities in a big game prior to Scotland's November series.

Glasgow - Team News: Steady as you go for the Warriors, who have opted to keep things the same. John Barclay leads the side from the back-row alongside Robert Harley and Richie Vernon.

Key Battle: Wasps' ultra-experienced fly-half Dave Walder goes up against Ruaridh Jackson this weekend. Jackson's potential is widely recognised but he will have to match his oposite number for control of the game if the Warriors are to succeed.

Trivia: The Warriors have only won on the road three times in the Heineken Cup and have won less than 20% of their fixtures against English opposition. They shipped 90 points away to Leicester in 1997-98.

Stats: Wasps are currently on their best run of home form in the Heineken Cup, having won their last 12 games.

Quote Unquote: "This is our biggest game of the season to date but the selection also represents the strength of the squad. Good competition for places is vital for us to be contenders and it is important after the emotion, travel and conditions of last week's game we select a side with some fresh legs." - Wasps coach Tony Hanks

"We need to look at this game and go 'what an opportunity'. This is the first time for so long that Glasgow have won their first-up Heineken game, so for us, this represents something special, maybe we can make a bit of history." - Glasgow boss Sean Lineen

Prediction: Glasgow will come out all guns blazing but Wasps have plenty of motivation after going so close last weekend and should prevail.
