Heineken Cup finalist joins Leeds Carnegie

Worcester Warriors centre Jon Clarke has joined Leeds Carnegie on loan for the rest of the season.

Clarke, who was part of the Northampton Saints side who reached the Heineken Cup final in 2011, joined the Warriors ahead of the 2012-13 season. However, he has played just three times for Worcester this season and is seemingly surplus to requirements at Sixways.

"I am looking to show what I can do, earn a place in the squad and help the club's drive to reach the play-offs and challenge for promotion," Clarke said. "I wasn't able to force my way in at Worcester, so the opportunity arose to come to Leeds and I was more than happy to join the club."
