Wales will be without hooker Ken Owens for their Six Nations opener against England on February 6.

The Scarlets hooker underwent neck surgery in October and reports on Wales Online say he will miss the first two rounds of the tournament. With him sidelined, Scott Baldwin, Richard Hibbard and Emyr Phillips will vie for the No.2 jersey.

But in better news for Wales, Warren Gatland should have Liam Williams and Samson Lee at his disposal. Lee injured his neck on January 3 and is struggling with a nerve problem. He will miss the Scarlets' game against Leicester on Friday but reports suggest he should be fit to face England.

Versatile back Williams was injured last weekend but he looks set to return in the next fortnight from his shoulder problem.
