Toulon owner Mourad Boudjellal could be hauled back in front of a LNR disciplinary panel after making controversial comments in the wake of his side's 25-19 loss to Clermont Auvergne on Sunday.

The outspoken comic book millionaire was incensed with the refereeing of match official Christophe Berdos during an intense and often brutal encounter at Stade Marcel Michelin.

Boudjellal said: "I had my first refereeing sodomy in the semi final [last season] against Clermont. I've just had my second tonight. It appeared to hurt the first time but it was just as bad this time. We will review the images not on Youtube but on YouPorn. Clermont are a great team. They did not need it."

And Perpignan forwards coach Bernard Goutta has lashed out at what he calls 'two speed refereeing' in the Top 14 after watching his side succumb to a 14-14 draw with Racing Metro at Stade Aimé Giral.

The former flanker claimed match referee Jean-Luc Rebollal missed a glaring infringement in the dying moments of the game which would have almost certainly given them the win. "We finished with 65% of possession and an [opposition] player on the ground at the tryline who snatched the ball as we were about to score on the final whistle," Goutta told l'Independant.

"There truly is refereeing at two different speeds - one for the top four and one for the bottom four. We can see this better today now we are in tenth place."

Fellow strugglers Biarritz moved clear of the relegation zone for the first time this season with a hard fought 6-15 win at Agen. France scrumhalf Dimitri Yachvili admitted the Basque club had to dig deep to assure themselves of victory. He told Sudouest: "We were at the bottom of a hole and we wouldn't have been able to get out, were it not for our solidarity and team spirit, in addition to a good setpiece and defence.

"It was laborious but we were expecting a match like that in what is a hostile atmosphere in Agen, where it's always difficult to win.

"We're not where we should be," added Yachvili. "We've had a tough time since the start of the season and we don't to see the club in this position anymore."

Meanwhile Toulouse stretched their lead at the top to six points thanks to their 51-10 win over Lyon but backs coach Jean-Baptiste Elissalde warned the French Champions will have plenty to work on ahead of their two vital Heineken games.

"The instructions were followed really well and the players didn't fall into the trap," Elissalde told La Depeche du Midi. "We were successful in that the players could enjoy themselves. There will be plenty of things to review but we will be able to fully concentrate on our European games where we'll need to take maximum points."
