Wales captain Sam Warburton has been ruled out of his side's Six Nations clash with Scotland after failing a fitness test on a thigh injury. Former skipper Ryan Jones will captain the side from the second row on the occasion of his 60th cap. Shingler, a Wales 7s international who featured in last year's HSBC Sevens World Series, joined Llanelli in 207 before being promoted to the Scarlets regional side in 2009 and made his debut against the Ospreys later that year.
