The Wales captain was forced out of the Blues' narrow 34-33 loss at the Salford City Stadium after just six minutes and was taken to hospital to have his finger put back in place and undergo x-rays on the injury.
And following scans on Monday, the Blues have confirmed that Warburton will not require surgery on the finger and they are confident that he should be fit to face the Top 14 giants on Sunday. The news will come as a boost to not only the Blues but also to Wales boss Warren Gatland and caretaker coach Rob Howley ahead of the November Tests.
Warburton took to Twitter to keep fans updated on his injury on Sunday - posting pictures of his disfigured finger and the subsequent x-ray. He wrote: "Sitting in A and E waiting to get my finger pop back in, hurry up!!"
And later added: "Finger is finally sorted, won't be signing autographs for a while!"
