Glasgow keep the faith with Al Kellock

Glasgow Warriors have retained lock Alastair Kellock as their skipper for the 2013-14 campaign.

Kellock, who has 55 caps for Scotland, helped propel them to the RaboDirect PRO12 semi-final last term and has captained the Warriors in 86 league matches. Glasgow Warriors head coach Gregor Townsend said: "This was an easy decision to make. Al is an inspirational leader and does so much for the club both on and off the pitch.

"He sets an example to others and he has undoubtedly played a huge role in the growth of the club over the last few years. This appointment will provide continuity for the club as we look to build on our third place finish last season."
