France coach Philippe Saint-Andre has dropped Louis Picamoles after the No.8 mockingly applauded referee Alain Rolland following him being shown a yellow card during the defeat against Wales.

"After this defeat, we made some changes to compensate for injuries," Saint-Andre said. "But also in reaction to certain attitudes on the ground vis-a-vis the match officials that have no place in our sport.

"Respect is the foundation of our values. It is vital to send a signal to all players and remind them having the privilege of wearing the jersey imposes duties and obligations."

Despite those comments, Clermont scrum-half Morgan Parra was included in a 30-man squad despite being sent off for butting an opponent against Montpellier on Saturday. He seems unlikely to play as he has yet to face a disciplinary hearing and faces a ban for his dismissal.
