Japan's men booked their place at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games after they rallied to beat tournament hosts Hong Kong in the final of the Asia Rugby Sevens Qualifier.

Teruya Goto, Lemeki Lomano, Kazuhiro Goya and Katsuyuki Sakai all scored tries in the 24-10 triumph to earn Tomohiro Segawa's team victory and a place on the plane to Brazil next year.

Japan won all of their pool matches on Saturday -- against Chinese Taipei, Singapore and South Korea -- without conceding a point, before doing the same in their final group match against China on Sunday.

Segawa's side then dispatched Sri Lanka 43-0 in the semi-finals before coming back from a 10-0 deficit in the final against Hong Kong.

It marks the latest success for Japan Rugby after the Brave Blossoms impressed at the recent Rugby World Cup in England, winning three pool games and securing a historic triumph over South Africa.
