Albert Vulivuli is a powerful, direct, uncompromising centre who has carved out a reputation for himself as one of the most hard-hitting midfielders in the Top 14.
Vulivuli was born in Fiji but attended Hamilton Boys High School in Waikato as a youngster and it was in New Zealand that he learned his trade before moving to Australia in 2008. He made his Super Rugby debut with the Queensland Reds in 2009 but was back on the road again later in the year after agreeing to join Top 14 outfit Bourgoin. Vulivuli enjoyed a impressive debut season in France and signed for Racing Metro the following year.
Vulivuli has also excelled at international level over the past 12 months, racking up six appearances for Fiji, scoring one try, in a 16-16 draw Wales in Cardiff, in the process.
